How to connect a gas heater to gas ?:<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The best solution to power the GH gas heater is to connect it to the LPG tank located outside. The tank can be purchased or leased from an LPG supplier. The gas tank connection must meet fire and construction conditions. Detailed guidelines are provided on page 49 of paragraph 179 of the technical conditions to be met by buildings and their location. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we cannot supply the heater with an external tank, we can use 11 kg or 33 kg cylinders and an automatic regulator. The selection of the efficiency of the gas reducer to the power of the device is very important. For example, a 25 kW heater connected to a small 11 kg cylinder will cause the cylinder to freeze due to excess gas consumption. In this case, the gas cylinder storage capacity should be increased by increasing their quantity and  an automatic reducer should be used<\/a> . Such a reducer draws gas from several cylinders at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the cylinder is frosting, you can also use a  roofer heater for<\/a>  11 or 33 kg cylinders, in which case the gas in the cylinder will evaporate faster. In case of insufficient amount of vaporized gas, an LPG gas vaporizer<\/a> can be used  .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conditions for connecting gas heaters to LPG gas cylinders with gas content up to 33 kg or from batteries of such cylinders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 178. Gas in a building or complex of buildings can be supplied with liquefied gas from a gas cylinder
with a nominal content of 33 kg of gas to or from the battery of such cylinders, provided that the following requirements:
1) The cylinders should be placed on the outside of the building, marked, on a hardened ground, under a
roof protected against the influence of weather conditions;
2) the number of cylinders in the battery cannot exceed 10;
3) the cylinders in the battery should be connected to a manifold made of seamless steel pipe or a service pipe connected
by welding;
4) the distance of the cylinder from the nearest window or door openings in the external wall of the building should not be
less than 2 m;
5) cylinders cannot be placed in depressions of the terrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conditions for connecting gas appliances to 11 kg cylinders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 177. Gas appliances installed in the building may be supplied with liquid gas from individual cylinders
with a nominal gas content of up to 11 kg, provided that the following requirements are met:
1) no more than two cylinders should be installed in one apartment, workshop or business premises;
2) in the room where the cylinder is installed, the temperature should be lower than 35 \u00b0 C;
3) the cylinder should only be installed in a vertical position;
4) the cylinder should be protected against mechanical damage;
5) a distance of at least 1.5 m\u00a0must be\u00a0maintained\u00a0between the cylinder and the heat radiating device, excluding sets of gas devices with cylinders\u00a0;
6) cylinders should not be placed closer than 1 m from devices that may cause sparks;
7) gas appliances should be connected with a gas pressure reducer on the cylinder by means of a flexible hose with a length
not exceeding 3 m and a pressure resistance of at least 300 kPa, resistant to liquid gas components,
mechanical damage and temperature up to 60 \u00b0 C;
8) gas appliance with a thermal power exceeding 10 kW should be connected with the flexible pipe referred to
in paragraph 7, with a steel pipe with a length of at least 0.5 m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
